Il Barbaresco è uno dei grandi vini italiani, e una delle zone d’elezione è il territorio di Neive. La vigna Canova è una preziosa menzione, dove Tenuta San Mauro raccolgie le preziose uve nebbiolo a 350 metri sopra il livello del mare. Nel terreno, gessoso, sono presenti le famose marne blu delle Langhe.

Note e abbinamenti:
Nel bicchiere il vino è rosso rubino intenso. Al naso si avverte un bouquet di frutta rossa matura con spiccati sentori di fiori secchi, spezie ed erbe,
accompagnate da note intense di cacao, tartufo e nocciola. In bocca è strutturato, caldo, molto persistente grazie alla elevata corposità e ai tannini eleganti, fini.

La fermentazione avviene in vasche d’acciaio Inox termo condizionate, per 20 giorni a contatto con le bucce. Il vino viene poi affinato in botti di rovere per 24 mesi, poi inserito in bottiglia per altri 24 mesi.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

  • Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
  • San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.

Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.

EVENTS

  • Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.

Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
