Il vino deve il suo nome alla presenza, sulla sommità della vigna originaria, di un albero di mele rosse. Senza dubbio la Barbera più prestigiosa tra quelle prodotte da Coppo: ha contribuito in modo essenziale alla rinascita di questo vitigno.
Le vigne selezionate per questo vino sono esposte a sud/sud-est a circa 200 mt. s.l.m., con terreni composti da marna argilloso-calcarea. Lo scheletro del suolo rivela presenze di gesso, conglomerati ferrosi e una modesta quantità di carbonato di calcio.
Note e abbinamenti
Al naso, intense ed eleganti sensazioni di frutti rossi eterei e vibranti: amarena, mora, ribes. Floreale di viola, dolce speziatura nel
finale. In bocca, ampio, persistente; integra ottimamente la caratteristica freschezza del vitigno.
Il produttore consiglia l’abbinamento con bocconcini di guanciale al Barbera, gnocchi al ragù di
lepre, blu del Moncenisio.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.
Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.
EVENTS
Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.
Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
