“Ermanno Costa – Cascina Spagnolo” si trova nel Roero. L’azienda si trova al centro di un anfiteatro di vigneti esposti a sud, sulla stessa collina dove è stata costruita la Chiesa di San Defendente, collina storicamente votata alla viticoltura. I sei ettari contengono 5 vitigni: Arenis, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Chardonnay e Brachetto. Siamo convinti che la qualità del vino abbia la sua origine nella vite e non nella cantina, quindi le lavorazioni manuali e meccanizzate sono fatte personalmente con la massima attenzione e professionalità.

Vino dal colore giallo paglierino tenue. Il profumo è delicato con sentori vegetali e floreali. Questo vino ha una struttura importante, grazie all’esposizione a sud dei vigneti, e una forte sapidità, che permettono un ottimo invecchiamento.

Dal 2018 aderiamo alla Certificazione SQNPI Agricoltura sostenibile che consiste nel rispettare le Normative Europee sui prodotti fitosanitari da utilizzare in vigneto e in cantina.Il nostro obbiettivo è arrivare in vendemmia con residuo 0 di prodotti fitosanitari all’interno dell’uva. Non utilizziamo diserbanti e usiamo solo lavorazioni meccaniche sottofila.
Per essere certificati SQNPI ogni anno siamo sottoposti a controllo su uve, foglie o vino per garantire massima serietà.
Non abbiamo dipendenti e in vigna, come in cantina, seguiamo tutto in prima persona.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

  • Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
  • San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.

Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.

EVENTS

  • Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.

Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
