Padre dei Syrah piemontesi: impianto datato 1989. Un Syrah dotato insieme di potenza ed eleganza. Finezza data dall’altitudine (500 mt. s.l.m., sull colline di Farigliano) e dal suolo marnoso-calcareo, ricco di mineralità, che conferisce a questo vino doti di massima longevità. Annata calda, vendemmia anticipata: profumi esaltati al massimo.

Frutti rossi, ribes nero, lampone, spezie. Note balsamiche. Abbinamento: Quaglia lardellata e cipolla caramellata.

Agricoltura biologica.
In cantina
Vendemmia fine settembre. Macerazione sulle bucce 15-18 gg in vasca di acciaio o cemento con rimontaggi manuali 3 volte al dì. Attento controllo delle temperature in fase di fermentazione primaria. Svinatura e trasferimento in legno (barriques al ventesimo passaggio) dove viene indotta naturalmente la fermentazione malolattica. Un paio di travasi l’anno. Dopo affinamento 24 mesi in legno passa in bottiglia.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

  • Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
  • San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.

Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.

EVENTS

  • Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.

Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
