Il Barolo è il” re dei vini e il vino dei re”, come si sente spesso dire. Tenuta l’Illuminata richiama questo detto con il Tebavio, chiamato in onore del capo delle genti piemontesi nel II secolo a.C. Le preziose uve nebbiolo sono raccoltenella zona di La Morra, a 250 metri sul livello del mare e su colline d’esposizione sud-ovest, dal terreno miocenico calcareo-sabbioso.

Note e abbinamenti:
Il colore è brillante, un rosso granato intenso e dai riflessi aranciati. Ampio al naso, dalle intense note di violetta, cilieigia e spezie dolci come vaniglia, cannella e chiodi di garofano. Al palato, pieno e armonico, si presenta asciutto, di grande persistenza e dagli aromi di fiori e liquirizia. Vino importante, da abbinare con piatti importanti a base di carne rossa.

La fermentazione avviene in vasi vinario di acciaio inox a temperatra controllata, favorendo un prolungato contatto con le bucce. La fermentazione malolattica sis volge nel mese di novembre. Il 50% del vino viene affinato in botti di rovere francese di primo passaggio, il rimanente in botti di un anno. Dopo 12 mesi il vino è riposto in botti grandi di rovere di Slavonia per altri 12 mesi. Infine, negli ultimi 12 mesi il vino affina in bottiglia

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

  • Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
  • San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.

Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.

EVENTS

  • Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.

Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
