Altitude: 280 m a.s.l. Vineyard exposure: South-West with sandstone soil. The harvest is carried out by 3 hand-picking in the month of november. The appassimento happens on plants. Appassimento is a method used to dry grapes naturally.
Tasting Notes and Pairing: Modigliana offers ideal microclimates for producing the noble rot that produces refined sweet wines. Torre d’Oro is a single-variety Albana obtained from clustres that are selected and left to the wither on the plant and then trasformed following the late-harvesting techniques used in the French tradition. Its bouquet is an intense explosion of yellow fruit, flowers and candies. Taste is intense, persistent wuth a perfect balance of sugar and acids so that sips are never too sweet.
Suggested serving temperature: Producer suggests serving it at 18°C
in the vineyard: ines of 2004 with 3.500 plants per hectare, with guyot training system.
Today there are still 2.000 plants of 95 years.
Production method and aging: Three fermentations in barriques and stainless steel tanks for 4 months, then stainless steel tanks.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.
Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.
EVENTS
Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.
Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
