Questo vino nasce dall’esigenza di contrastare il cambiamento cliematico, di cercare la ferschezza e la piacevolezza di beva utilizzando un vitigno nobile abituato ai climi più caldi. L’abbondante acqua presente nel sottosuolo, l’esposizione a sud-ovest e la mineralità dei fossili in un terreno argillo/sabbioso completano il profilo minerale ed energico del vino.

Note e abbinamenti
al naso troviamo note fresce di fiori bianchi, pesca bianca ed una leggera nota mandorlata, firma di questo vino. La bocca è fresca e minerale, si beve con gusto e senza fastidiosi alcoli, persiste su palato con grande piacevolezza.

4-6°, non richiede l’apertura precedente se bevuto di annata. Per annate più vecchie si consiglia 10 min di ossigenazione in bottiglia
In vigna
Ci approcciamo alla cura della vigna in modo sostenibile e biologico non certificato, senza uso di agenti chimici erbicidi. Grande attenzione è data alla potatura e all’impostazione della vite, in modo da trarne il miglior risultato in qualità, equilibrio vegetativo e età delle viti.
In cantina
Le uve vengono pigiate appena raccolte ed il mosto viene raffreddato all’istante per avere una estrazione delle bucce dolce e delicata nelle 12 ore successive di macerazione. Controllo della temperatura per tutto il ciclo fermentativo, affinamento per 6 mesi in acciaio con un continuo movimento delle fecce nobili tramite bâtonnage, dapprima ogni giorno andando a rallentare fino ad una volta a settimana.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

  • Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
  • San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.

Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.

EVENTS

  • Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.

Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
