The vineyards for this Nascetta, which grows in the Santo Stefano Belbo area, are at 400 metres above sea level, on soils rich in silt and sand, which give the elegant notes of this wine, well balanced by the structured character of the variety.
Perhaps the only grape for dry white wine in the Langhe, almost forgotten for many years by wine growers, Nascetta has now found true enthusiasts among the wine producers of its region, who are returning to plant it and producing very interesting wines that reflect, on the one hand, the personality of this curious grape and, on the other, the variety of soils, exposures and vinification styles of the region.
Tasting Notes and Pairing:
An intense and interesting perfume of grapefruit, apple and aromatic herbs. Full bodied with a surprising aromatic persistence, nicely sapid and tasty, with a smoothness that enhances the sensation of tactile fatness.
Suggested serving temperature: Serve chilled to about 11-12°C.

Manual harvest, into small crates towards the end of September.
Production method and aging: After a short period of maceration on skins, the grapes are soft pressed. The clear must obtained ferments slowly in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 16-17°C. The wine spends a long period of time on the fine lees, with frequent “batonnage”.

Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.

EVENTS
