Description:

Bellavista is today one of the largest and most important wineries of the denomination, recognized for the great quality of its products and for the commitment to preserve an environmental-friendly viticulture.
The production of Franciacorta wines began in 1977, under the guide of entrepreneur Vittorio Moretti, supported from 1981 by the oenologist Mattia Vezzola, a great figure within the Company, who helped to outline the style and unmistakable signature by Bellavista.
All stages of production, from the vineyard to the bottle, follow natural practices, with careful attention to the over 200 hectares of property, use of traditional machines for soft pressing and separate vinification of the plots, to guarantee an always optimal and constant quality of the cuvées of the House.
Within the range of highly prestigious labels of the house, Alma Non Dosato (pas dosé) represents the closure, desired by the new generation of Francesca Moretti, of the Company’s range. An Alma wine, which traditionally draws on the entire vineyard extension of the property, in a version without dosage, according to a more modern taste, which prefers freshness, minerality and verticality. The cuvée is obtained blending selections of the harvest and adding a percentage of reserves from previous vintages.
A wine that aims at giving, as the company itself writes, “the purest side of Franciacorta” and that without any doubt hits its target.


Tasting Notes and Pairing:
Fine and persistent perlage, this wine combines freshness and complexity, expressiveness and verticality with great precision. First, bread crust, then, small flowers and white fruits, surrounded by a long finish, enriched by butter and mineral notes.
To combine with a creamy and delicate first course or with a soft and fleshy second course of fish.

6-8 °C
in the vineyard:
Certified Organic. Approach to biodynamic viticulture.
Production method and aging:
Soft pressing. Fermentation for 85% in stainless steel, 15% in oak. Aged for 30 months in bottle.

  • San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.

Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.

EVENTS

  • Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.

Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
