Cusumano si è affermata come una delle più importanti cantine di tutto il Meridione italiano in poco più di 20 anni, valorizzando i vitigni e i terroir della Sicilia con abilità e caparbietà. Alta Mora è il progetto etneo dei fratelli Alberto e Diego Cusumano, che con il padre Francesco hanno rilevato tre contrade nel versante settentrionale del vulcano. Guardiola è una contrada tra gli 800 e i 1000 metri di altitudine, e le uve sono raccolte da viti secolari di oltre 150 anni, allevate ad alberello.

Di color rubino. Al naso si esprime con sentori eleganti di frutta rossa matura, note minerali e cenni di spezie come liquirizia al naso. Al palato rivela un corpo ricco e pieno, con una trama tannica ben integrata e un’ottima persistenza. Da abbinare con filetto di maialino nero delle Nebrodi. Canzone: Summertime, Ella Fitzgerald.

Dopo la vendemmia, le uve sono diraspate e sottoposte a
pressatura soffice. Le bucce rimangono a contatto con il mosto a temperatura costante di 28°C
per 18-21 giorni.
La malolattica avviene in legno, successivamente il vino è affinato
in botti grandi e tonneaux.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

  • Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
  • San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.

Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.

EVENTS

  • Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.

Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
