Description
Barolo Via Nuova comes from 6 different crus located in three villages Barolo (Terlo and Liste), Monforte d’Alba (Ravera di Monforte and Mosconi), Serralunga d’Alba (Gabutti e Baudana).

Tasting Notes and Pairing Barolo Via Nuova by Chiara Boschis is characterized by a bright and vibrant profile: red, crunchy fruits, with mineral and balsamic notes.
Perfect to drink on its own, it pairs well with slightly seasoned lean cuts of meat cooked au-point an delicate aged cheeses.

The winey is certified organic.
Short winter pruning and spring vine training, reduction in yields through removal of excess bunches after the fruit set, strict selection during harvest. All of this work had been performed by hand. To fight vineyard diseases, counter-measures were employed using an organic system with very low environmental impact.
Production method and aging Fermentation took place in steel tanks under temperature control with frequent pumping over and punch down. Aging in lightly toasted 30% new French oak for 24 months and one year further in the bottle prior to release. The style of vinification and aging are kept the same in all the three Barolos of the winey, to underline the differences of the terroir.
The wine is bottled unfiltered.

Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.
Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.
EVENTS
Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.
Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
