Marco Capra conducts his activity in Santo Stefano Belbo, the town where author Cesare Pavese was born. These hills, between Langhe and Monferrato, are known to be ideal for sparkling wines, a vocation that’s possible thanks to its terroir. The winery manages the entire chain of production, from vineyard to cellar, focusing its attention to both innovation and the customary uses of production, typical of the region.
Tasting Notes and Pairing: A straw yellow colored wine with greenish reflections. The foam is of a soft and creamy texture, with great persistence. Perlage is elegant and fine. An ample, powerful wine that expresses great elegance, with notes of green apple, white flower and finally bread crust. On the palate, white pulp fruit is the first aroma and hints of minerality emerge in the finish. A versatile wine, to drink as and aperitif or during the whole meal.
Suggested serving temperature: Serve cold, 7-8 °C.

Manual harvest using small baskets occurs between the end of August and the first part of September, depending on the seasonal pattern.
Production method and aging: The cuvée is exclusively realized with decanted free-run must. After the first fermentation, the wine stays on the lees for 6 months. Bottle refermentation occurs in the bottle, where the wine remains for 36 months in the cellar, at a constant temperature of 14-15°C.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.
Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.
EVENTS
Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.
Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
