Arneis is one of the renowned whites of Basso Piemonte. An autochtonous variety of Roero, a region that gives the denomination its name. Many producers homage this grape and Guasti Clemente does that too. Vineyards are located in the territory of Canale d’Alba at 200 metres above sea level. The vines are planted on sunny hills of clay, calcareous soil.
Tasting Notes and Pairing: A straw yellow colored wine with greenish reflections, with hints of fresh apple and pear to the nose. It tastes elegant and full, pleasantly bitter, very persistant. The best food pairings are sweet water fish dishes, shellfish and white meat. It is also great as an aperitif
Suggested serving temperature: To be served at 8-10°C
in the vineyard:
Harvest is done manually in half September.
Production method and aging: The grapes are softly pressed before starting a slow fermentation. Finally the wine undergoes bottling at cold temperature.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Membership includes a Wine Concierge service that will be at disposal of the members upon appointment for online and in-person meetings at Relais San Maurizio and in the area. The Concierge service will advice on wines of the San Maurizio Wine Club and Italian wine in general.
San Maurizio Wine Club is available to organize winery visits for its members with the Guest Producers of the project.
Upon subscription, you will receive email and whatsapp contact to plan your Wine Concierge appointment and your visits.
EVENTS
Members of the Club will be informed via email and on their personal website page of any event planned by the San Maurizio Wine Club for its members.
Events may be free or with an access fee and they may allow to be accompanied by a partner.
